2 New Exhibitions Feature Paintings Of Clowns by Philipp and Herzberg
Timed for the circus are two new exhibitions of paintings of clowns: one by Walter Philipp at F.A.R. Gallery, the other, actual portraits, by Robert A. Herzberg at the Newton. The clown theme is one, of course, which has appealed to artists since the eighteenth century.
